Dr. Monte Merrell is a dedicated OB-GYN known for his compassionate approach to women’s health and his expertise in both routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic care. He provides comprehensive care for women at every stage of life, with particular skill in clinical gynecologic procedures and the management of both normal and high-risk pregnancies. Dr. Merrell is passionate about helping families grow and guiding patients through some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

Born in Idaho as the youngest of seven siblings, Dr. Merrell developed a deep appreciation for family early on. He served a mission in Chile, where he became fluent in Spanish and gained a lifelong love for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds. After returning home, he earned a Bachelor's in Zoology from Idaho State University.

Dr. Merrell later attended Creighton University School of Medicine, where he earned his medical degree and developed his passion for obstetrics and gynecology. His residency training at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center brought him to Arizona, where he has since embraced the desert lifestyle—heat and all.

Today, Dr. Merrell is committed to providing thoughtful, patient-centered care. He enjoys building lasting relationships with his patients, supporting families, and helping bring new life into the world.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Merrell values spending time with family and community, continuing the family-centered values that first inspired him to pursue a career in women’s health.
